| I've been sick at home with bronchitis for the last
three days and am about to go crazy. i'd go outside, but i just
don't have the energy...so alas, i'm here updating my xanga. this
pictures are old, but i guess its never too late for some things.
i've been working a lot and since everybody left Taiwan, i've been
missing the good old days. so here's some shots of my summer when
it was a little more interesting....
i went to Taipei 101 with these two silly guys.

hung out with this beautiful lady...and found out that you can't count
on her when you lose conciousness =] thankfully, that doesn't
happen often....i miss her a lot.

oh, elliot just started watching V for Vendetta and i need to go and join him. i'll have to finnish this later.

| so i'm back in taiwan and its great. i'm loving it. there are two reasons i'm updating:
1. i have "so much time"
2. i heard alana mckinlay was feeling a little left out...especially when it comes to a certain man in my life. so, here he is...cody watters my boyfriend...

cody happened to come by our room at a time when were conveniently all matching. pretty much amy and cody's relationship is based upon making fun of me....whatever, i can take it. plus, who listens to two people who know the names of the Dragon Ball-Z characters?

a couple of weekends ago the six of us met up in san diego to see steph. does it look like a random group? well, it was...but it was surprisingly not awkward at all and we had a great time together eating mexican food and drinking chai at coffee bean & tea leaf.

katie oyen...this one's for you.

wow katie, you and the Pope have some striking resemblences. are you sure you're not Catholic?
there's more pics to share but this computer is too dang slow and my patience is wearing thin so here's one of my summer so far. elliot won the Susan Fiestel Award for being so smart. congradulations el....it made the 2 hours of Academic Awards Night totally worth it (uuuhhh...)

| 4 days till school is over...
10 days till i GO HOME!
I can't believe how fast the year has gone by....so much has happened
and so much has changed that i'm looking forward to slowing down my
life to think about what the last 10 months have meant. its been
so fun, so hard, so strange, and so surprising. i don't really
know how to sum it all up...all i can say is that i'm thankful and I
know that God is good.
I do know that i'm going to miss this girl all summer....

"My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness" 2Cor 12:9
Amy, we have so much to learn about how to love. thankfully we
don't have to be strong, we don't have to be perfect, just sustained by
grace. i love you so much, and know that God's grace will fill
the gap in the space where we are lacking.

| since SPRING BREAK has come and gone, i thought it would
be a good time to recap what happened in january and feburary.
when it comes to xanga, later is better than never. i would just
skip over all that stuff, and put up pictures of spring break in
colorado, but the early stuff is just soooo cool. plus, amy
already gave you a sneak peek into the colorado trip.
ok, so back in january, i went with my proffessor and this other girl
to Washington D.C. to speak at the Association of American Colleges and
Universities conference. i'm part of this program called Liberal
Arts Ambassadors (we go to high schools and middle schools and promote
the liberal arts), and my professor wanted us to help him present the
program to other colleges. we didn't speak till the last day, so
we got to enjoy the five star hotel, free food, and sights of D.C. for
5 days.

and...i took this pic for pure xanga-purposes alone. some patriot decided to leave his mark....

this one's for you mom...i'm your little girl all grown up

one of the best parts of the trip was realizing that D.C. was only 2
hours from philly. i hopped a bus and went to see my good friend
lawrence for a whole day! even though he mocks my xanga site and
calls me the Rock, he's still a pretty cool guy and i was so blessed to
get to see him. plus...he bought me my first real philly
cheesesteak...

ok, a couple of weeks after D.C. i went went Anna (the one with
long hair who had cancer, but is better now), Jane (she sang the
national anthem at the winter Olympic qualifyers..she's that good), and
Amy (you know her) to Disneyland for the weekend. but first we
went to a westmont bball game in LA......we didn't plan this...

california adventure (the park next to disneyland)...amy was as excited as all the other little children...

mulan was pretty excited when she heard that amy and i were visiting from taiwan.

i was accused of looking like a mom tourist...but hey, it was the
perfect sized bag for the trip, i carried everyone's sandwiches in
style.

jane's the only one who thought the new space mountain was fun.

....ok, that's all for now. next time, hopefully not in 3 months,
i'll have some great pics of spring break 2006. 6 more weeks of
school....
